Prakash Gehani is a practicing lawyer and a seasoned POSH trainer with over 17 years of professional experience in legal practice, academic instruction, and workplace compliance. He delivers legally sound, practical, and impact-driven POSH programs tailored to organisational needs across India.
He holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the University of Mumbai, having secured first rank in his LL.B. programme, and was felicitated by the University of Mumbai for securing first rank in the LL.M. programme.
Specialising in Family Law and Criminal Law, his practice focuses extensively on crimes against women, including matters relating to sexual harassment, domestic violence, divorce, and allied family disputes. He has represented clients before the Bombay High Court, Sessions Courts, Family Courts, and various Magistrate Courts across Mumbai and Thane.

Mr. Gehani has been actively associated with the POSH framework since the inception of the Act and is a recognised speaker and subject-matter expert in the field of workplace sexual harassment prevention.
He has conducted open workshops as well as customised POSH training programs for thousands of employees across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, IT/ITES, BFSI, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, education, and services. His training interventions have benefited corporate leadership teams, Internal Committee (IC) members, HR professionals, and employees, strengthening compliance and fostering respectful workplace cultures.
